The Role

This is a new and varied role to help us in the latest phase of our establishment as one of London’s best-known craft breweries. Brixton Brewery has been wholly owned by Heineken since February 2021, but is run by the original founders as an independent organisation with autonomy, but support available where required.  

We’re looking for a communicative, outgoing and highly organized individual to assist our Operations team (and the wider brewery) with many aspects of the business including administration, logistics and customer service. 

Key tasks:

The Operations Assistant is a key part of our Operations Team and is responsible for:   

Order administration – taking orders from customers over the phone and via email and entering into our brewery management software (Brewman). 

Co-ordinating with the Finance Team to maintain our credit control processes. 

Managing the administrative processes and functionality of our online shop. 

Answering the phones and maintaining the orders@ and info@ email addresses. 

Co-ordinating local and national logistics alongside our Office Manager. 

Liaising with the Sales Team on all sales enquiries in a timely and accurate manner. 

Working with the Operations Team to maintain accurate stock levels and integrity. 

Maintaining the offices and kitchens on-site (ordering office supplies & staff refreshments, post) 

Any other duties that contribute to the effective functioning of the brewery. 

Represent the brewery professionally as the person our customers talk to the most. 

Be a brand ambassador. 

Essential skills & qualifications:

Brilliant customer service. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

A flexible can-do attitude with willingness to tackle any challenge.  

Excellent planning and organisational skills.  

A keen attention to detail and accuracy.  

Competent IT skills, ideally proficient in MS Excel.  

Legal right to work in the UK.  

Great to have:

Experience of administering orders and warehouse functions.  

Experience of working in a brewery.  

An interest in craft beer.
