BRIXTON BREWERY AND ODDBOX HAVE JOINED FORCES TO RESCUE FRUIT FOR BEER THIS FOOD WASTE DAY

Did you know that:

• 40% of all food grown goes to waste
• Food waste is responsible for approximately 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions

In aid of Stop Food Waste Day, we teamed up with food-waste warriers, Oddbox, to rescue some unconventionally beautiful and surplus produce and put it to good use.

They sent us some misfit-but-delish oranges, mandarins and limes which we lovingly zested and juiced at our brewery in the heart of Brixton.

We turned this into a delicious tincture to blend with a refreshing pale ale to create the end product, Oddhops. The beer is packed full of juicy citrus flavours and refreshing hop bitterness. Zesty, zingy and extremely drinkable.
